December 2020: Release Notes

This update includes the following features:

  • Online Portal with eConsult Functionality: Please read below for instructions.
  • Full-Screen Rear Camera Preview (Google Pixel Phone Users Only)

1. Online Portal with eConsult Functionality

You can now submit eConsults with the ENTiD Online Portal. You can also send your patients forms, and secure one-way emails using the portal. The portal is fully integrated with the ENTiD App, allowing you to take photos, and then send eConsults later on using your desktop.

Please Note: Once you update your phone with the latest release of the ENTiD App, photos taken after the update will populate in your online portal. You must update your phone to see images in your online portal.

To access the portal from your desktop or mobile browser, visit portal.entid.ca.

You can also visit entid.ca and select "Login".

To login, use your existing login details: firstname.lastname@secure.entid.ca

Once you have entered the portal, you can choose what task you would like to complete using the menu bar on the left hand side of your screen:

You can also view the details of your ENTiD Profile by clicking on your name

Sending an eConsult Using the Online Portal:

You can select "REFERRAL" to submit an eConsult. The template is almost identical to your mobile version. Specialist responses to eConsults sent through the online portal will also populate in your Secure ENTiD Email Account.

To attach images to the eConsult, simply select the images you would like to send from your photo library on the right hand side of the screen:

Sending eConsults through the online portal also allows you to easily attach files. To attach a file, upload or drag and drop into the "Other Attachments" box at the bottom of the eConsult form:

Click "Submit" to send your eConsult.

Sending Forms and One-Way Emails Using the Online Portal:

If you would like to have specific forms set up in your account, please contact Alana. We have had requests for Covid-19 Screening Forms, and other Patient Intake Forms through the portal.

We can track all patient directed emails and forms sent through the online portal for billing purposes. These emails are billed using the 03.01AD code. For more information on what you and your patients can expect when sending emails and forms through the online portal, please click here.

2.  Full Screen Rear Camera Preview

If you have a Google Pixel phone, the image preview will now be the entire screen. Ensure the image is centered when taking a photo. As always, check to make sure you are happy with your photo and it has properly saved in your library each time you use the camera.
