Dr. Andrew Ferrier is a double board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical and surgical dermatology, with a strong focus on clinical research. He is the Director of Clinical Research at Stratica Dermatology and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Alberta. Dr. Ferrier practices in Edmonton and Fort McMurray, providing expert dermatologic care to his patients.
He earned his BA in Biology from Lake Forest College as an NCAA student-athlete. Subsequently, Dr. Ferrier completed his PhD and post-doctoral fellowship in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa, where he published numerous manuscripts detailing the pathological mechanisms underlying degenerative diseases. Following his PhD, he obtained his medical degree at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, where he was honored with the prestigious Canadian Medical Hall of Fame award. Dr. Andrew Ferrier then completed his dermatology residency at the University of Alberta.
Passionate about medical, surgical dermatology, and clinical trials, Dr. Ferrier holds the position of Director of Clinical Trials with Stratica Dermatology. He is enthusiastic about pioneering medical advancements that benefit his patients.
