Chukwuma Oraegbunam, is a Consultant Psychiatrist with broad clinical experience in general adult and geriatric psychiatry and a special interest in neuropsychiatry. He has practised across acute, community, and liaison settings, consistently demonstrating a strong commitment to evidence-based and patient-centered care.
He is dedicated to collaborative practice, providing expert consultation and support to family physicians and specialist teams to enhance diagnostic accuracy, optimize treatment plans and improve overall patient outcomes. His clinical practice encompasses the assessment and treatment of schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders; mood disorders including depression and bipolar disorder; anxiety disorders; adjustment disorders; adult neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and autism; substance use and addiction; and neurocognitive disorders. He also manages a wide range of neuropsychiatric presentations associated with physical and neurological illnesses.
