Jeffrey Chivinski
MD, FRCPC, B. Pharm
Dr. Jeffrey Chivinski is a Royal College–certified dermatologist with expertise in medical and surgical dermatology. He completed his medical degree and dermatology residency at Université de Montréal, after previously obtaining a degree in pharmacy from Université Laval.
His clinical interests include inflammatory and immune-mediated skin diseases, particularly hidradenitis suppurativa, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and acne, as well as skin cancer and general dermatology. His background in pharmacy also contributes to a strong interest in therapeutics and the use of systemic, biologic, and targeted treatments in dermatology.
Dr. Chivinski is actively involved in medical education and regularly provides continuing medical education to physicians and other healthcare professionals. He participates in national and international dermatology conferences and educational initiatives and is committed to providing practical, evidence-based recommendations that can be readily incorporated into patient care.
Through Alethea, Dr. Chivinski aims to support primary care providers with diagnostic questions, treatment recommendations, medication management, and guidance regarding when an in-person dermatology assessment or procedure may be appropriate.
