Dr. Keith Wolstenholme graduated from the University of Calgary medical school (2004) and Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program (2009). He completed a subspecialty fellowship at the University of Iowa, specializing in Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy, Knee and Shoulder Reconstruction in 2010.
Dr. Wolstenholme has been in clinical practice with Central Alberta Orthopedics and at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre for over 15 years. His clinical practice is currently focused on soft tissue knee and shoulder reconstruction and on upper/lower extremity trauma (soft tissue and fractures). He is a consulting orthopedic surgeon for the WHL’s Red Deer Rebels and the Orthopedic Surgical Lead at the Brent Sutter Sports Medicine and Acute Injury Clinic. Dr. Wolstenholme is a clinical lecturer for the University of Alberta and enjoys teaching both family medicine and orthopedic surgery residents.
When not busy with clinical practice, Dr. Wolstenholme is a passionate advocate for health care equity across the province, enjoys playing and watching hockey (Go Oilers!) and loves spending time outdoors.
