
Dr. Lauren E. Roberts is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with over eight years of practice in British Columbia. She completed her medical degree at McMaster University, orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of British Columbia, and fellowship training in Foot & Ankle Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
While her subspecialty expertise is in foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Roberts treats a broad spectrum of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Her practice includes the management of sports injuries, arthritis, fractures, deformity correction, trauma, and complex reconstructive problems, using both surgical and non-surgical approaches. Her clinical interests include ankle arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, cartilage restoration, and biologic therapies.
An active educator and academic leader, Dr. Roberts is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at UBC, Associate Director of Undergraduate Medical Education, Education Lead for the Division of Foot & Ankle, and Orthopaedic Medical Education Site Lead at Burnaby Hospital. She is committed to advancing orthopaedic education and improving access to high-quality musculoskeletal care.
