Dr. Matthew Lee completed his Internal Medicine residency followed by a two-year General Internal Medicine fellowship at the University of Calgary. He has pursued additional clinical training in hepatology, with particular interests in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) and alcohol-related liver disease.
Dr. Lee’s practice spans both inpatient and outpatient care, based at Rockyview General Hospital. He is actively engaged in medical education through the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine, contributing to teaching and mentorship within the Internal Medicine Residency Program. He also serves as the Rockyview General Hospital representative for the General Internal Medicine Fellowship Program. His clinical work encompasses the full range of complex multi-system conditions, including hypertension, cardiovascular risk stratification, and diabetes, alongside his focused expertise in liver medicine
