Michelle Hart

Dr. Michelle Hart is a Family Physician who has practised General Practice in Alberta since 2003. She has a special interest in Women’s Health and has provided IUD consultations and insertions, including long-acting contraception for patients from adolescence through perimenopause. Her practice also includes assessment and management of menopausal symptoms and hormone therapy.

Dr. Hart provides eConsult advice and, when appropriate, consultation for urgent endometrial biopsy in patients with dysfunctional uterine bleeding. She also provides expertise in the assessment and management of menopausal concerns, including genitourinary syndrome of menopause, vasomotor symptoms, and hormone therapy options.

Dr. Hart completed her MBChB in Pretoria, South Africa, in 2000 before practising rural obstetrics with Caesarean section privileges in Daysland, Alberta. She now focuses on consultation-only Women’s Health and Menopause care at Papillon Medical in Gulf Canada Square in Calgary. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Calgary.
