Rosalyn McAuley

Rosalyn McAuley, MD FRCPC, is a General Adult Psychiatrist and Clinical Medical Director of Psychiatric Emergency Services and the Crisis Stabilization Unit at the Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary. She is coming up on ten years working as a psychiatrist in acute care, after completing residency training at the University of Calgary. Dr. McAuley is happy to provide advice to her family medicine colleagues in order to improve access to psychiatric expertise, whether it be pharmacologic, diagnostic, or crisis management. Dr. McAuley is well versed in a number of therapy modalities, including DBT, CBT, short term dynamic, and also has robust experience in managing psychotic illnesses, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, major depressive disorder, ADHD, substance use disorders, and personality and adjustment disorders. She uses a trauma informed, strengths-based approach with her patients and looks forward to providing support to her colleagues in the community.
