Dr. Samira Roxana Raja-Azhar, MBBS, MRCOG is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with extensive clinical and surgical experience gained through specialist training and practice in the United Kingdom. She completed her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in England and obtained her MRCOG and CCT before working as a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Dr. Raja-Azhar has broad experience in general obstetrics and gynaecology, including the management of acute and complex obstetric presentations, Caesarean deliveries, gynaecologic surgery, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and abdominal and laparoscopic hysterectomy. Her clinical interests include pelvic pain and the assessment and management of endometriosis, with a focus on individualized, evidence-based, and patient-centred care.
Now based in Calgary and fully registered with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta, Dr. Raja-Azhar is committed to providing compassionate women's healthcare and values collaborative multidisciplinary care, medical education, and continuous quality improvement.
