Sarah Chapelsky

Dr. Chapelsky is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and has a Diploma in Counseling for Obesity Management. Based in Edmonton, she practices obesity medicine full-time. She practiced at the Edmonton Adult Bariatric Surgical Clinic (formerly Weight Wise) from 2015 – 2022. Currently, Dr. Chapelsky has a community-based obesity practice at C-endo and is the Director of the Women’s Preoperative Weight Loss Clinic at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, which serves patients with obesity and gynecologic cancers. Her expertise includes the selection, initiation, and follow-up of obesity medications; patient selection and preparation for bariatric surgery; and management of postoperative complications of bariatric surgery.
