Robyn McPherson
MSc, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Robyn McPherson is a community based Pediatric Neurologist working in Edmonton. She enjoys seeing a broad range of neurologic concerns including headaches/migraines, epilepsy, developmental concerns, and movement disorders. Dr. McPherson completed medical school at the University of Calgary and residency at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. She grew up in Edmonton and has been back since 2019.
She has a busy outpatient clinical practice that supports patients and families throughout central and northern Alberta. She has a special interest in headaches and is passionate about early and effective education and management for headaches in childhood.
She is hopeful that this platform will empower primary care providers to provide effective management for their patients early on in their presentation, improving overall quality of life and potentially limiting the need for direct specialist intervention.

- Assessing and managing pediatric headache and migraine presentations, including when to initiate treatment or refer.
- Interpreting abnormal pediatric neuroimaging findings and advising on next steps.
- Guiding investigation and treatment strategies for pediatric seizures, including febrile seizures.
