As an Information Manager/service provider, Alethea supports physicians and clinics with the documentation and information needed to complete their applicable privacy assessment requirements. Where a PIA is required, the healthcare custodian or implementing organization remains responsible for completing and, where applicable, submitting its PIA in accordance with the requirements of its jurisdiction.

There’s no conflict of interest. Alethea Plus users are reimbursed for their eConsults, with billing managed through AH codes and guidelines. This system is designed to acknowledge the value of eConsults for both physicians and patients, and we cover the cost of the digital otoscope and facilitate access to care without financial barriers.
